Touched by the
Hand of God
Who hung the moon and the stars in the sky?
Who shaped the earth and ignited the sun?
Who draws a Mother to her baby’s cry?
Who can meld two into one?
To know that I could search the earth and travel far and wide,
To never find my one true love and yet you’re by my side,
Is proof to me this can’t be chance that this same path we’ve trod,
But surely must be Heaven Sent, Touched by The Hand of God.
Who knew you when you were still in the womb?
Who made the roses to reach for the sky?
He who emerged from the depths of the tomb,
To ascend to the Heavens Alive!
So now let me this promise make, that forward from this day,
When winds will blow and storms roll in, your trust I can’t betray,
For we are shielded from the evils offered of this world,
Because our tie of one is bound by no less than The Lord.
